A key focus of Newfoundland Power’s investment in local communities is promoting sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint. We are dedicated to upgrading green spaces and raising awareness about the importance of preserving the environment for future generations.
Our Environmental Commitment Program (ECP) began in 1997. Since then, we have partnered with over 300 community groups, completed 130 environmental projects, and inspired thousands of participants each year to care for the environment.
EnviroFest is the cornerstone of this program. This annual celebration of the environment provides funding and support for initiatives that promote positive environmental action throughout our service area.
Congratulations to the 2026 EnviroFest grant recipients!
